Words I've Run Into
fissiparous in an article at The Atlantic Vestal Vespa pointed out.obloquy strikes me as at least a good scrabble word. Ran across it in Charlotte Macleod's Rest Ye Merry, almost a Christmas tradition with me. I admire Peter Shandy as one of the first Warriors Against Christmas.
